Music
I have been a guitarist for about 15 years now and have created music with two projects to date. I am currently starting my journey of electronic music production as well and provide electronic and ambient sound baths for sound bath experiences.
Some of my favorite genres are neo-soul, jazz, classic rock, house and bossa nova.
Some of my biggest music inspirations for my guitar playing have been Ted Greene, Luiz Bonfa, Steve Vai, Jimmy Page and Tony Iommi.

Sound Baths
I currently offer sound baths for wellness events such as breathwork classes and meditations. I offer extended soundscapes combining both live guitar as well as electronic ambient sounds. I like to create musical journeys that take people to different parts of their mind and ultimately leave them feeling uplifted and embodied. I take a lot of inspiration here from the likes of Jon Hopkins, East Forest and Days of Lavendar.
Gentle Mind
A neo-soul band I started alongside Camille, Tobi and Abishek through the Blank Vinyl Project Build a Band program at UBC. We created a single and EP which can be found on Spotify.

Chill Clinton
I went down to busk for the first time ever at Kits Beach. I sat down and a random stranger approached and said “Hey, are you Michael?”, I said “Yes”. He said “OK perfect.” and he started taking out his saxophone. He was actually mistaking me for a different Michael that he was supposed to meet at the beach to play with. Turns out a group of young lads, including one of my close friends Navin, were meeting there to jam. We played that evening for 4 hours and I took home a couple hundred dollars. And so Chill Clinton was birthed.
